Sur les traces de Lancelot app for iPhone and iPad

On the border of Normandy and Maine, the “Lassay-les-Châteaux, le pays de Lancelot” (Lassay-les-Châteaux, land of Lancelot) application will guide you on a 3km walking tour. The tour is divided into 9 set audio and artistic stages which transport the visitor into the medieval world of the best known of all the knights of the round table: Sir Lancelot, lover of Guinevere, King Arthur’s wife. Many a tale will accompany you on your quest. You will hear about his childhood at the bottom of the lake with Viviane the fairy, how he was shunted about from castle to castle, how he fought the dragon and the extraordinary battles he faced in the forest in order to be with his beloved, as well as his love songs to Guinevere. An absolute must-see: on the round table inside the Château de Bois-Thibault, a comic strip captures the 24 stages in Lancelot of the Lake’s history. And, in the forest itself, a few statues are out to surprise you!
